Shrink Rush is published by Utevo s.r.o.. This policy explains what happens to information when you play.

The short version

The game keeps no information that identifies you. There are no accounts and no sign-in, and we operate no servers of our own. Two Google services do receive information: one to show ads, and one to tell us in aggregate how the game is played. Both are described below.

What the game stores on your device

To keep track of your progress, the game saves the following in the app's own storage on your device:

That is the complete list. It stays on your device, is never transmitted, and is not linked to you or to any identifier. You can erase all of it at any time with RESET on the menu screen, or by deleting the app.

Advertising

The game shows ads supplied by Google AdMob: a banner on the menu and results screens, and an optional ad you may choose to watch in exchange for an extra life. Ads are never shown during play.

To select and measure ads, Google may collect and process:

This information is handled by Google, not by us, and is governed by the Google Privacy Policy and by How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

The game does not ask for App Tracking Transparency permission, so Apple's advertising identifier (IDFA) is not available to the game or to Google, and ads are served without it.

Two things the consent form mentions are worth clarifying, because the game does not in fact supply them. The form lists precise geolocation among the purposes advertising partners ask about: that is standard wording covering what those partners are permitted to do in general, but the game never requests location access from iOS, so precise location is not available to any of them. The approximate location derived from an IP address, described above, is the only location signal involved. The form also refers to information stored on your device, which for advertising means identifiers held by Google's own service rather than anything the game keeps.

Usage analytics

The game uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how it is played in aggregate — for example how far players get before a run ends, and how often the optional ad for an extra life is watched. The events the game records are:

Alongside these, Firebase automatically records standard measurements such as app opens, session length, app version, device model, operating system version, and country. It also generates a random app instance identifier for your installation. This tells us nothing about who you are — there is no name, email, account, or contact information involved, and we look at this data in aggregate rather than per player. It is processed by Google under the Google Privacy Policy, and you can find details of the service in Firebase's own privacy documentation. Deleting the app resets the app instance identifier.

Ad measurement

The game supports Apple's SKAdNetwork, which tells advertisers that their ad led to an install without identifying you. Apple performs this measurement in aggregate and the game receives no personal information from it.

Consent

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, or a US state with applicable privacy law, you are asked on first launch how your data may be used for advertising and measurement. Your choice is remembered on your device and passed to Google, and you may change or withdraw it at any time using PRIVACY on the menu screen.

Children

Shrink Rush is not directed at children. It is intended for a general audience, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children — the game collects nothing that identifies any player, of any age. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the game, please contact us at the address below.

Your rights

Because the game holds nothing that identifies you, we cannot look up, correct, or export data about a particular person — there is no account to look it up by. Requests concerning data collected for advertising or analytics should be directed to Google using the links above. You can stop further collection by declining consent where offered, or by deleting the app.
